Reverse Thrust

Brisbane Airport, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

An Emirates Boeing-777 kicks up some serious spray while landing with reverse thrust on a wet Runway 01 at Brisbane.

I am a huge fan of the Boeing-777. The 777's twin GE90 jet engines are physically the largest engines in aviation history, each capable of 513kN of thrust. The 777 is one of the most technologically advanced civilian aircraft ever built. In the 12 years it has been in service, not a single 777 has been written-off due to an accident.
