Tweaking digital photos for the web in 7 easy steps using Photoshop CS2

Use this checklist to easily optimise your digital photos for publication on the Internet.

1. Adjust exposure with levels
   Image > Adjustments > Levels
   (Ctrl-L)

2. Add a warming filter
   Image > Adjustments > Photo Filter

3. Remove imperfections with Spot Healing Brush
   Press J

4. Sharpen lightly
   Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen

5. Reduce noise
   Filter > Noise > Reduce noise

6. Resize image to 1024px
   Ctrl + Alt + I

7. Save for Web with a new name
   Alt + Shift + Ctrl + S
